Transformers 3 casting update

Three new names have been added to the cast of the much-anticipated/dreaded Transformers threequel. And this is real casting, not people providing voices for more roboracist sidekicks.
It has been announced that Ken Jeong, Frances McDormand and John Malkovich have all signed on to the third film in the explosive robots-in-disguise franchise. Sounds like some good talent to have onboard (with the last two names, at least), but don't forget Bay has already made a mockery of John Turturro's career.
McDormand will play the director of National Intelligence, and Malkovich is set to play Sam "Shia" Witwicky's boss. There are less details about Jeong's casting but expect it to be the usual less-than-meets-the-eye Asian fruitiness he brought to his roles in the likes of The Hangover. Hilarious.
Meanwhile, we can soon expect to see character designs of how Michael Bay is raping more of the original Autobot and Decepticon cartoon images that we grew up with. Although, recreating Soundwave as a satellite rather than a ghetto-blaster made a lot of sense. I'll give him that.
