Films on TV round-up: buddy cops and budding comics
TV Feature | Ed Williamson | 29th January 2012
Bloody hell, this is the biggest films on TV bonanza I've experienced in a while. Normally I'm scrabbling around for two to write about, or just end up pretending I've seen one; this time I've got loads to choose from. Hopefully ITV2 will soon go back to their usual policy of just showing True Lies three times a week and make my life easier.

The Adam Sandler Matrix
Movie Feature | Ali | 8th November 2011
This week sees the release of Adam Sandler's Jack And Jill, in which the comedian plays both a man AND his crazy twin sister. We're not saying it's going to be terrible, but we are saying that it's surely a low-point in the career of a man who, these days, has more misses than hits. As we once did with Nicolas Cage, let's plot Adam Sandler's movie career in matrix form. Ah, the hell with it: Jack And Jill looks terrible.

Zookeeper
Movie Review | Rob | 28th July 2011
For a brief time there, Kevin James had potential; when his bumbling fat guy routine was sweet and charming, not depressing and pathetic. But then he fell in with Adam Sandler. Now he's trapped churning out this kind of monkey crap while Sandler sits back and counts his money. Yeah, Kevin James is totes the new Rob Schneider.

Just Go With It
Movie Review | Ali | 13th February 2011
Punishment, I am a sucker for you. There's a theory in my household that you can't enjoy a good film after a roast dinner on Sunday - the senses are all soaked in gravy, so all you can do is haul your ass to the cinema and endure something bland and inoffensive. The kind of film a snooze wouldn't ruin. Something like Just Go With It.
