Snow White And The Huntsman
Movie Review | Ali | 29th May 2012
What's this, you say? A film about Snow White? A movie in which Kristen Stewart has to choose between two dudes? A movie in which Charlize Theron behaves like a complete lunatic? A movie in which Chris Hemsworth is a swarthy yet heroic warrior? Please, continue! How delightfully original! There hasn't been a movie like this for years! Seriously! Shit you guys! My sarcasm button is stuck! It's making it sooo difficult to write this review with any modicum of professionalism! Ugh!

Interview: Chris Hemsworth and Mark Ruffalo
Movie Feature | Matt | 25th April 2012
Another day in the run up to Avengers Assemble being released in cinemas, another opportunity for me to milk my interviews with the cast. This time it’s Chris Hemsworth and Mark Ruffalo, who played Thor and the Hulk respectively. Coincidentally, it turns out that they do NOT like being addressed as either ‘Thor’ or ‘Hulk’ when being asked a question. Lesson learned.

Avengers Assemble
Movie Review | Matt | 20th April 2012
It's only been four years since Samuel L Jackson teased his way into the end of Tony Stark's movie like a fan-wetting afterthought, but it seems like anticipation for The Avengers has been setting the Internet a-buzz for far longer. Perhaps this is because, since the comic-book genre gained credibility again, we've all been waiting for the ultimate superhero crossover movie. With Avengers Assemble, we get just that - four superhero leads meeting up for one mega-blockbuster movie in a way that has never been seen before. As a result, it is the ultimate summer event movie. It also happens to be Marvel's masterpiece.

Interview: Drew Goddard, co-writer & director of The Cabin In The Woods
Movie Feature | Ali | 9th April 2012
Having seen a top secret screening of The Cabin In The Woods a while back, I've been going out of my mind wanting to talk about it with people, but it's really one of those films where it's better you know as little as possible. Being offered the chance to talk to Drew Goddard - Cabin's co-writer and director - was the perfect opportunity for me to enthuse about the film and gain a further insight into how a movie as awesome as The Cabin In The Woods came to exist. Don't worry, it's spoiler free!

The Cabin In The Woods
Movie Review | Ali | 10th March 2012
I'm about to write a thousand words on why The Cabin In The Woods is the best movie of the year so far, yet I can't actually tell you anything substantial about it without ruining it. In true Psycho style, to share the film's secret is to rob it of its power. Just take it from me that you're better off knowing as little as possible about The Cabin In The Woods, and even if you think you know what it is, you probably don't. What you see in the trailers is approximately 25% of the film – the tip of the iceberg. The brilliance of The Cabin In The Woods is in exactly what's lurking beneath the surface.

Cabin In The Woods trailer: My pants just got Whedon
Movie Trailer | Ali | 6th December 2011
To be honest, Matt is the site's resident Joss Whedon bonerist, but this first trailer for long-delayed horror Cabin In The Woods has prompted me to pitch a tent in my own wooded area.

New Avengers banners likely to cause aggro in Liverpool
Movie News | Ali | 19th November 2011
Two brand new character banners for The Avengers have emerged, and don't worry, Scarlett Johansson's arse is featured as prominently as possible. Something tells me, though, that this campaign could be considered aggressive in Merseyside.
