Congratulations to everyone who read that thing I wrote last year about the brilliant, amazing burst of fruit flavour that is Commentary! The Musical - a musical commentary recorded for Dr Horribleâ€™s Sing-Along Blog. Well done to all of you who went on to not only watch the main feature, but also sought out the commentary, listened to all the songs and dialogue whilst reading the lyrics online, just as I suggested. Seeing it through makes each of you a huge fucking nerd (youâ€™ll no doubt get that reference now). Achievement unlocked. Hereâ€™s me interviewing Joss Whedon about the whole thing.

As someone who has barely seen the first Cars, and who actively and selfishly steers his son away from knowing that a sequel even exists simply because Iâ€™ve heard itâ€™s not very good, I am clearly not the best person on the Shiznit staff to review this film. No, that honour goes to Ali, who, for the past two years, has an unfinished article sitting in the site admin area entitled "What I've learned from Cars 2 after watching it 200 times". Much Ado About Nothing

There are two types of Joss Whedon fan: the kind that admires how he managed to give due weight to each character in the Avengers while still littering the film with cool and funny moments, and the kind that yells "WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN? JOSS IS A GENIUS-GOD WHO SHOULD HAVE HAD HOLLYWOOD EATING OUT THE PALM OF HIS HAND YEARS AGO! ALSO I CAN SING ALL THE LINES TO EVERY SONG IN THE MUSICAL EPISODE OF BUFFY". I fall very much in the latter camp, which basically makes me a horrible person to be around. It also means that I'm the kind of person who will blindly squee his way along to see this film without giving a moment's thought to the fact that, oh yeah, everyone in it is going to be speaking 'Shakespeare'.
