Need For Speed
Movie Review | Matt Looker | 8th March 2014
Considering the Fast And Furious series has effectively already won the race of the 'fast car movie' genre, do we really need another film about driving? Do we really need more shots of someone shifting a gearstick a dozen times, of feet slamming down on pedals, of screeching, smoking tyres? In essence, is there really a Need for more Speed?

Filth
Movie Review | Neil Alcock | 4th October 2013
Bruce Robertson is a cunt. A lying, thieving, cheating, racist, misogynist, homophobic shitstick who would sooner drug you and steal your watch than give you the time of day, and if he did give you the time of day it would be after looking at your own watch, which he has just stolen. He pinches kids' balloons, forces underage girls to nosh on his junk and screws his friends' and colleagues' wives. He's also a Detective Sergeant in Edinburgh's Lothian Constabulary, and probably the greatest lead character in cinemas this year.

The Look Of Love
Movie Review | Ed Williamson | 22nd April 2013
Any mainstream film purporting to be about porn should have actual porn in it, for my money. And if there's one thing my 14-year-old self learned the hard way by staying up to watch inevitably tepid erotic thrillers on Channel 5, it's that they never really do. But I think the idealist in him would be disappointed to see me greet The Look Of Love with the shrug it induced. Here, let's ask him. So, 14-year-old me, what do you— Hey! Stop doing that! This is a public place!

Fright Night
Movie Review | Ali | 29th August 2011
We all had a wry chuckle (is there any other kind?) when I mocked Fright Night's draconian embargo policy, but there's nothing funny about Fright Night itself. It's a remake hamstrung by its own total lack of ambition, overshadowed by its own legacy and crippled by needless, awful 3D. Sorry to go for the jugular straight away, but I've been waiting months to get this out of my system. THE INTERNET MUST KNOW MY OPINION.

I see what you did there, Fright Night
Movie News | Ali | 28th June 2011
Four new Fright Night character posters have debuted online, complete with diagonals, blood spatters (they're the new sparks, don't you know) and shit vampire puns. Well played, sirs. (*narrows eyes*)

Movie Trailer | Ali | 13th May 2011
Earlier this week he was bald and fat, now he's a vampire - that Farrell is just so waffly versatile!
