One year ago today, a horrible atrocity was committed
Movie Feature | Ali | 9th March 2012
Today marks the one year anniversary of one of the most grotesque and perverse acts of movie terrorism ever committed. We were shaken, shocked and bruised, but we were not beaten. It is only in learning from our past failures that we can ever hope to see a bright future for our children. Please observe a one minute silence after the jump.

5 things I learned from the X-Men: First Class press conference
Movie Feature | Matt | 1st June 2011
Last week I was afforded the opportunity to attend the X-Men: First Class press conference, allowing me to go eyeball-to-eyeball with all the stars: James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Kevin Bacon, Lenny Kravitz's daughter and the guy who makes tornados come out of his hands that can't really speak much English.

A few thoughts on X-Men: First Class
Movie Feature | Ali | 30th May 2011
As Matt bagsied the official site review (he's always one step ahead) I thought I'd add my own demented warblings in a separate article. If Matt's review was a sitcom character, consider this feature his character's oddball cousin from out of town.

X-Men: First Class
Movie Review | Matt | 25th May 2011
With Brett ‘The Hitman’ Ratner killing off half the characters in X-Men: The Last Stand, it’s no surprise that the franchise had to be rebooted, but do we really need to see a Bash Street Kids version of the mutant superheroes? Admit it, Ian McKellen and Patrick Stewart suddenly seem much more interesting…

X-Men: First Class poster rejects
Movie Feature | Matt | 10th March 2011
Why are they looking so disgruntled? Maybe it's the realisation that they are on the brink of a change in the evolution of mankind. Or maybe they're balking at the eye-wrenchingly amateurish posters that have just been released for the film.

X-Men: First Class gets a couple of second class posters
Movie News | Ali | 2nd March 2011
Before he was Professor X... he was Charles. Before he was Magneto... he was Erik. Before they release the proper X-Men: First Class poster... we get this bunch of arse instead.
