Boner alert: True Grit trailer
Movie Trailer
Ali
27th September 2010
The Coen Brothers reteam with The Dude to out John Wayne John Wayne? The first True Grit teaser trailer is this way, cowboy.
Expect Jeff Bridges to mosey off with his second Best Actor award next year, then: True Grit has a trailer and it's a belter. Though there's barely more than a minute to it, that's more than enough to get a feel for that classic, Coen Brothers-y, Old West tone. It feels like someone spat tobacco in my mouth.
Paramount have done a good job keeping this baby quiet: I like to think I'm fairly up on my movie news - I believe you've seen this blog before (*snorts*) - but I had no idea Matt Damon was in this, or Josh Brolin. That's awesome casting. You know what would be better? If Jeff Bridges' character shot Shia LaBeouf. That'd be perfect.
True Grit will saddle up in cinemas in January, pardner. Dammit, how come when I try to pull off a cowboy it always sounds so gay?
