Date Night trailer sucks ass

How can two of the funniest people on television star in what looks like the unfunniest movie of the year? This trailer has precisely no ROFL-inducing jokes or catchphrases I wish to repeat in the playground. FAIL.
I'm a huge fan of both the American version of The Office and 30 Rock, so it kinda hurts to see respective stars Steve Carell and Tina Fey appearing in what looks like a formulaic comedy.
Date Night sees a buttoned-down couple (They argue about sex! They bicker over dinner! They're just like us!) become embroiled in a Wacky Night Out after stealing someone's reservation at a restaurant. Who knows, maybe this Adventure Of A Lifetime just might Reignite Their Romance. In the director's chair is Shawn Levy, a man who could direct an Oscar-winning film every day of his life and still be known as the guy who made Cheaper By The Dozen. Despite the fact both Carell and Fey have writing awards up the wazoo, neither of them worked on Date Night's script; instead, it's written by the genius behind Shrek The Third and the forthcoming Thomas The Tank Engine movie. I'll choo-choo-choose to avoid this.
By the way, as if you needed to be told just how anodyne this movie promises to be, it opens with 'Ain't That A Kick In The Head'... the Robbie Williams version. Don't fret guys, TV will always take you back.
