Are you a fan of post-apocalyptic road movies, religious allegories and desaturated palletes? This trailer for The Book Of Eli might just tick all your boxes and more.
If you saw the trailer for The Road and figured it didn't have enough explosions for your liking, then The Book Of Eli is probably more up your alley. Plus it has slow-motion arrows, 120% more quipping and the lovely Mila Kunis.
An adaptation of the graphic novel of the same name, it's best described as post-apocalyptic Western, in which hero Eli (Denzel Washington) carries a book which features information that could redeem a fractured society after a cataclysmic event has scorched the Earth.
Or you could just say it's The Road with explosions. Which I just did.
