Review: Sex And The City 2

Sex And The City 2
If you've seen the freaky poster for this movie, that should tell you all you need to know without having to purchase a ticket. This film is plastic, with no heart and very little brain. Fans of the TV series beware; this ill-advised sequel is a major letdown and it makes the first movie look like The Godfather in comparison.

It was Family Guy that said three hookers and their mom wasn't it?

Not that I was going to like this film anway but I was meant to be seeing a girl before she jetted off to Turkey for two weeks and our meet up was canclled because this women's version of Revenge of the Fallen dragged on so long.

This time it's personal, or as the poster should read, "This time it's for money" (thank you Simpsons)

I saw this on Tuesday, and it is fair to say it was the longest 2 and a something hours of my life. The films projection of the Middle East was downright embarrassing, the final market scene in particular.

Some girl in front of me hated it so much so she was sick. In the cinema. It was either that or the promotional pink cocktails they were giving out.

All in all I died a little that day.

Poor Anna deserves a round of applause for this. And a shoe, or whatever women like.

Roger Ebert wrote a good review. The first line is brilliant: Click Here Link opens in new window

"3 Hookers & Their Mum" from somewhere

That's all I have to say about that.

I read a review of it somewhere that said something about it being "a video of gay men playing with giant Barbie dolls."

[edit] Ah, there we are.

I'm literally the least qualified person to make the following comments, have never knowingly seen the show. But aren't the dresses they wear and the clothes they model supposed to be fashionable? They all look like clown WAGs.

It's very fashionable to take pot-shots at this (irony alert!) but fuck it: it deserves it. Once in a while you get a movie that's so shamelessly all about the money that it beggars belief. Fuck this movie. It makes me hate women. More so, I mean.
