Perhaps you like some films that a lot of your friends haven't seen and take delight in showing them the case, seeing their "huh?" expression as you slip the disc in and sit back knowing you're passing ...

Anybody seen the Blue-Ray Near Dark?
They've tried to make it look Twilight-y with Adrian Pasdar given glowing yellow eyes and mist everywhere.
I'd love to see teeny girls & emo boys watch Near Dark thinking they're getting a romantic gothy soap opera and being face-blasted with blood, gore & dust from Severin et al.

I\'ve seen all but three of those (Last Seduction, Southern Comfort, and McCool\'s), but I wholeheartedly agree with all the rest. Amadeus is one of my all time favorites, and Near Dark is fantastic (miles ahead of The Lost Boys, which was released the same year).

I\'ve seen 5 of those. Tremors is excellent and One Night At McCools really surprised me - I knew nothing about it and just happened to catch it on TV on night.

Quick comment on Near Dark. I watched The Terminator today, and that has three people from Aliens in it too: Beihn, Paxton and Henriksen. Cameron likes his regulars.

I\'ve got Amadeus and Tremors on DVD! Both superb in their own ways.

I've caught 2 of those at random on television at night. I don't remember number 10 too much but the end scene of One Night At McCools sticks in my mind as being great (as does soapy car washing). I remember watching Tremors when I was really young and have seen it on late night again a few times.

I got Requiem For A Dream for £5 on the advice of a friend, a truly depressing yet excellent piece of film and soundtrack and the actress (Ellen Burstyn) who played the older woman was outstanding.
