Kevin Smith's new film almost definitely a cop out

After Warner Bros had a last minute change of pants heart over the title of Kevin Smith's new Bruce Willis-starring film A Couple of Dicks, rumour has it that a new title has been chosen: Cop Out. Quite.
Smith himself has been quite vocal on Twitter about the studio wanting to change the film's title without ever showing frustration at the decision (something like 'Christ, not this again, you spineless fucktards' was to be expected).
He has said:
"

While we'll always have DICKS in our hearts, the title we just now locked makes me smile on a bunch of different levels - including this 1: we can now advertise our movie properly (& ironically). Gotta be honest, I love Kevin Smith and will even, to some extent, defend Jersey Girl (as an understandable personal project) but I was never crazy about the title A Couple of Dicks. It just had a bit of a 'fnar snigger' quality to it. Cop Out I like even less because it only works as an in-joke for those of us who know about the title controversy.
Still, and this is what execs seems to forget: people will flock to a Kevin Smith film as long as it's advertised as a Kevin Smith film. We'll see anything by the man that made Clerks, Mallrats, Chasing Amy and Dogma - just don't advertise the fact that he didn't actually write this one, and no one will give two snoogans about the title.
