New clips suggest Robin Hood might be quite good, actually

Wake up, Robin Hood is robbing from the rich and giving to the poor again. No seriously, it looks better this time.
Of all the big-budget blockbuster films coming in 2010, none are more worthy of indifference than Ridley Scott's retelling of the classic Robin Hood story. It's not that the film looks bad but... (*shrugs*). You know?
We've seen Ridley do this kind of period battle piece before and Russell Crowe has, on more than one occasion in his career, dodged projectiles while shouting inspiring commands to his men. Now, for our enjoyment, they repeat both here with a story that we have all seen dozens of time. Again, I say...(*shrugs*).
But now these clips have been released, knocking my apathy off its feet with a longbow and then laughing while swigging a tankard of ale. These two videos below show some ripe banter between Russell's Robin and Cate Blanchett's Maid Marion, and a lively mid-battle sequence. And both prove that this film could make for an enjoyable watch.
Okay, it's not exactly Inception. Heck, it's not even Predators. But, my interest has been peaked now and I'm sure I will happily ho-hum through this pleasant three-star film, even if Crowe is clearly more 'belt buckle' than 'swashbuckle'. Check out the clips below - am I wrong?
