Tarantino talks Kill Bill 3

QT has announced plans to make Kill Bill 3. "But hasn't The Bride already killed Bill?" I hear you ask. Who cares about plot when there are ninjas to fight and obscure Korean films to reference!

Speaking in an interview on Italian television, Tarantino said that an Inglourious Basterds prequel was a "maybe" and that there won't ever be a Pulp Fiction sequel. (Sorry, Travolta - looks like you're stuck making dross for the rest of your career).

Then the mouthy director made the tantalising announcement that "the Bride will fight again". He says a Kill Bill 3 will "probably come out" and that he has to wait a couple of years first, setting the film 10 years after the events of the first two films.

"
"
"I put her through a lot those first two movies, I want her to have a nice, peaceful life for ten years. I want her to set up her store, and have some peace. But after ten years we'll make her fight again."
So do we believe him? He does have a habit of talking up films faster than he can make them and all it takes is for a flash of inspiration to strike and he'll drop Kill Bill 3 to make a "reimagining" of some unheard-of Latvian film about a telepathic girl and her killer otter.

All I can think about is poor Uma Thurman reading this news and thinking "Oh Christ - back to the gym and brown rice for the next couple of years then..."
