Ewan McGregor cast in "The Man Who Killed Don Quixot-aye"
Movie News | Luke | 19th May 2010
Look, it's late, our pun machine broke down and these lollystick gags aren't helping, no matter how many packs of Mini Milks we get through.

The Ghost
Movie Review | Anna | 18th April 2010
Polanski's first film in five years has been met with a very mixed response. Little White Lies said "the whole movie is actually Polanski being, well, shit." The Guardian, however, considers the movie to be Polanski's "most purely enjoyable film for years." I'm going to have to embrace my inner Lib Dem and come down squarely in the middle with a solid-but-not-mind-blowing three stars.

I Love You Phillip Morris
Movie Review | Rob | 18th March 2010
Oscar nominations for gay cowboys and a win for Sean Penn's gay politician; Hollywood loves homosexuals, as long as it's all kept clean. I Love You Phillip Morris gained massive plaudits at Sundance last year but struggled to find a US distributor comfortable with its somewhat graphic content.

The Blind Side
Movie Review | Kirsty | 8th March 2010
American football is a sport we don't get much information on over here; as Alan Partridge said, it's just futuristic rugby, right? Law Abiding Citizen
Movie Review | Phyllis | 25th November 2009
What happens when you throw Gerard Butler, Jamie Foxx, insinuated rape, gruesome revenge killings and over-the-top action sequences together into one over-long courtroom drama? It isn't hilarity that ensues. It's a goddamn depressing mess.

The Men Who Stare At Goats
Movie Review | Rob | 11th November 2009
Ewan McGregor, you may remember, is actually an actor, and a pretty good one at that. When he's not gallivanting around the world with Charley Boorman on a bike, getting a sore arse, he does occasionally find time to make a film or two.

Movie Trailer | Ali | 29th August 2009
George Clooney is back in the Middle East, but he's not stealing Kuwaiti bullion or trying to win an Oscar; he's trying to kill a goat with his mind. It's a comedy! Hooray!

Terminator Salvation
Movie Review | Ali | 21st May 2009
Terminator Salvation is explosive - not in the sense that it'll blow your mind, more in the sense that it'll burst your eardrums. Pound for pound, it features more explosions than any other movie I've seen - there's literally something detonating or collapsing or being shot or catching fire every 30 seconds. Even in quiet scenes...
