If this year's movies were remade with animals
For no other reason than, hello, this is the internet, here are a bunch of movie posters re-shopped to star animals instead of A-list actors. It'd certainly be cheaper and there would be less faeces to clean up.

One year ago today, a horrible atrocity was committed

One year ago today, a horrible atrocity was committed
Today marks the one year anniversary of one of the most grotesque and perverse acts of movie terrorism ever committed. We were shaken, shocked and bruised, but we were not beaten. It is only in learning from our past failures that we can ever hope to see a bright future for our children. Please observe a one minute silence after the jump.

Japan: making Pixar posters better since right now
If you thought the US one-sheet poster for Pixar's Brave was purdy, wait 'til you get a load of Japan's effort. Nice work, Japan. Take the evening off.

A new cultural high for The Shiznit
Apparently the UK's foremost critical thinkers on film have nothing better to do than discuss our truthful movie posters on BBC2's The Review Show. Tsk! And they didn't even read out our full web address on the air or run our URL across the bottom of the screen complete with our donation hotline!

Fight Club just got kicked up a notch
Behold, the poster for our special screening of Fight Club next month. I may still tweak some of the title placements. Oh god, now MY poster is under the microscope. THE SNARKEE HAS BECOME THE SNARKED.

Everyone else is doing it, so here are our alternate Drive posters
Everyone and their dog has created their own alternate Drive poster, so we thought we'd give it a go too. The results are predictably shit.

Just to complete the set
Truthified posters for the two Oscar-nominated pics we missed earlier this week - because we're nothing if not completists.

If 2012's Oscar-nominated movie posters told the truth

If 2012's Oscar-nominated movie posters told the truth
It's that time of year again: the Oscar nominations are in, and the chatter has begun. Who will fail to beat George Clooney and Meryl Streep this time? In the interests of transparency, we've shopped the posters for this awards season's biggest movies so they're a little more honest about their content. Pretend this is the first time we've done it.

Final poster for The Hunger Games features nice bird
It's time for another round of 'Ali thinks there's something weird about a new movie poster and is going to use his website to tell you all about it!'

I see what you did there, Iron Lady marketing campaign
New posters for The Iron Lady's US release come pre-vandalised, meaning all the radical anti-Thatcher protestors roaming the streets in America have been rendered null and void. VOID I say!
