New Robin Hood trailer and pics = Gladiator 2?

Robin Hood is back and, in addition to his mad archery and bow staff skills, he now has an inappropriate rock accompaniment — 'cos everyone knows the Sheriff of Nottingham can't stand the clang of electric guitars!
The trailer looks like a pretty shoddy rush-job to me - lots of shots of Russell doing his Maximus thing, a wolf, some vague voiceover lines...and let's put some heavy rock in there too! Hey, it worked for those clashing titans.
Saying that, I'm holding out hope on this one. At best, it looks like Gladiator 2.0 and that's no bad thing in my book. The synopsis is pretty standard though:
"
"
In 13th century England, Robin Hood (Russell Crowe) and his band of marauders confront corruption in a local village and lead an uprising against the crown that will forever alter the balance of world power. And whether thief or hero, one man from humble beginnings will become an eternal symbol of freedom for his people. At one time, there was talk of Crowe playing both Robin Hood and the sheriff, but apparently that was deemed 'unworkable' in the early stages. Unless it turns out to be a twist and everyone is now downplaying the idea in the hopes that we'll forget it was ever mentioned?
Anyway, check out the trailer and pics below and relish the prospect of another exciting Ridley Scott movie because, let's not forget, he's making Monopoly soon.
